1. Data controller

The data controller for personal data collected through the website iacstudios.com is Cristian Oprea, with tax ID (CIF) X7118819C and registered office at C/ Copons, 54, 08787, Igualada, Barcelona, España. You may contact us regarding any matter related to the protection of your personal data by sending an email to [email protected]. For general inquiries about our services, you may contact [email protected]. IAC Studios processes users' personal data in full compliance with applicable data protection regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights (LOPD-GDD). This Privacy Policy aims to inform Site users about what personal data we collect, for what purpose, the legal basis that legitimizes processing, and what rights users have regarding such processing.

2. Data we collect

Through the contact form available on the Site, we collect the following personal data voluntarily provided by you: name and surname, email address, and the content of the message you send us. As a general rule, we do not request or process special categories of data (sensitive data) through the contact form. We do not collect personal data from users who browse the Site unless they voluntarily and actively provide such data through forms enabled for that purpose. Additionally, as a result of the use of web analytics tools (see the Cookie Policy), we may collect anonymized or pseudonymized technical browsing data, such as browser type, device, screen resolution, and pages visited, for the sole purpose of improving the Site. The personal data you provide must be truthful and up to date; the user is responsible for the accuracy of the information communicated to us.

3. Legal basis for processing

Processing of personal data provided through the contact form is based on the consent that you freely and unambiguously grant by submitting the form, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. This consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal. In cases where there is or will be a contractual relationship for the provision of services by IAC Studios, the legal basis will be performance of a contract or implementation of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation applicable to IAC Studios, the legal basis will be Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Under no circumstances do we base processing on legitimate interest where this may override the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

4. Purpose of processing

Personal data provided through the contact form is used for the following purposes: (a) to manage and respond to your inquiry or request for information about IAC Studios services; (b) to maintain the communication necessary for the provision of services that, where applicable, are requested; and (c) to comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not use your data for purposes other than those for which it was collected without your prior express consent. IAC Studios does not carry out automated profiling or automated decision-making producing significant legal effects based exclusively on automated processing of your data. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so, you have provided express consent, or it is necessary for providing the contracted service, in which case such third parties will act as processors under IAC Studios' instructions.

5. Retention period

Personal data provided through the contact form will be retained for the strictly necessary period to handle your inquiry and manage the related communication. Once this management is completed, data will be blocked and retained for the periods established by applicable regulations to address potential legal liabilities arising from processing, particularly for the statute of limitations applicable to possible actions. As guidance, and unless a specific rule sets a different term, data will be retained for a maximum period of two (2) years from the last contact, unless you request deletion before that period elapses. If a contractual relationship exists, the data required to comply with tax, commercial, or other legal obligations will be retained for the legally applicable periods in each case.

6. User rights

Under the GDPR and LOPD-GDD, you are entitled to exercise at any time the following rights regarding processing of your personal data: right of access, to know which personal data of yours we process and to obtain a copy; right to rectification, to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data; right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), to request deletion of your data when, among other reasons, it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected; right to restriction of processing, to request that we suspend processing of your data in certain circumstances provided by law; right to data portability, to receive in a structured electronic format the data you have directly provided to us; right to object to processing of your data for reasons related to your particular situation; and right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), the competent supervisory authority in Spain, accessible at www.aepd.es.

7. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of the rights indicated above, you may contact IAC Studios through any of the following means: by sending an email to [email protected], indicating in the subject line the right you wish to exercise; or by postal mail addressed to C/ Copons, 54, 08787, Igualada, Barcelona, España. In both cases, you must include a copy of your national identity document, passport, or other equivalent document proving your identity, and clearly specify your request. IAC Studios will respond to your request within a maximum period of one (1) month from receipt. This period may be extended by up to two additional months where complexity or number of requests so requires, and you will be informed within the first month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) through its electronic office at www.aepd.es or in writing to its postal address.

If you are under 16, please refrain from providing us with your personal data through the contact form or any other means. If IAC Studios becomes aware that it has received data from a child under 16 without parental or guardian consent, it will proceed to immediate deletion. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with data without required consent, please notify us at [email protected].

10. Changes to this policy

IAC Studios reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in order to adapt it to legislative developments, case-law criteria, industry practices, changes in processing activities, or instructions and recommendations from the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Any modification will be published on the Site, indicating the date of the latest update shown at the end of this document. We recommend that you periodically review this policy to stay informed about how IAC Studios protects your personal information. Continued use of the Site after publication of any modification will be interpreted as acceptance of the updated policy. If the modification affects processing based on consent, we will request renewed consent where required by applicable regulations.
